Welcome to Sensory Hair Hub (“we”, “our”, “the platform”). Sensory Hair Hub is a UK-based online booking marketplace connecting clients with independent hairdressers and barbers who offer sensory-inclusive services.

By using our website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.


2. About Sensory Hair Hub

Sensory Hair Hub:

  • enables users to find and book sensory-inclusive hair services
  • connects clients with independent providers
  • promotes accessibility, inclusion, and supportive hair-care experiences

We are not the service provider. All services are carried out by independent professionals.


3. User Eligibility

To use our platform:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to make bookings
  • You must provide accurate information during account creation and booking
  • Parents and/or carers may book on behalf of a child or vulnerable person they support

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.


4. Service Providers

Providers listed on Sensory Hair Hub are independent professionals responsible for:

  • Holding appropriate qualifications and insurance
  • Maintaining an enhanced DBS check (where applicable)
  • Providing accurate availability and pricing
  • Delivering services safely and professionally
  • Complying with UK consumer and safeguarding regulations

We perform reasonable vetting but cannot guarantee each provider’s suitability.


5. Booking & Payments

  • Bookings are made directly through our platform
  • Prices are displayed by each provider
  • Payment terms may vary depending on provider policy Providers may require deposits or full payment at booking. We may charge a platform service fee to support operations.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are determined by each provider. Clients should review Terms before booking. Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in charges. In case of disputes, we will assist in mediation but final responsibility rests with the provider.


7. Sensory & Wellbeing Disclaimer

Our platform supports neurodivergent individuals and those with sensory sensitivities. However:

  • We do not provide medical, behavioural, or therapeutic care
  • Providers offer hair services and sensory-supportive adjustments only

Parents/carers remain responsible for the wellbeing and supervision of children or vulnerable adults.


8. Safety & Conduct

We are committed to safeguarding. Abuse, discrimination, or harassment of any kind is not tolerated. We may remove users or providers who breach safety or ethical standards.


9. Platform Access & Updates

We aim to maintain continuous access but do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted use
  • error-free operation
  • accuracy of provider listings

We may modify or update the platform at any time.


10. Liability

Sensory Hair Hub is a facilitator only. We are not liable for:

  1. service quality delivered by providers
  2. results of hair-care services
  3. personal injury caused by negligence of providers
  4. missed appointments or delays

Our liability to users is limited to the fullest extent permitted by UK law.

12. Changes to Terms
